Update 25th Nov 2009
Found this in their help section:
Unfortunately we do not support email addresses with generic prefixes (e.g. info@, webmaster@ etc.). Since email addresses of this nature are typically used for organizations and businesses, we do not allow them to be used for personal Facebook accounts. You will need to use a personal email address that does not contain this type of prefix. There are no exceptions to this rule.
FB's doing this to me too...did you solve your problem?
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately no. Facebook still rejects my email address.
ReplyDeleteAnd my two addresses, one with gmail and the other with yahoo, are both rejected
ReplyDeleteMine is also rejected and now Facebook has also flagged my alternative email address. I think they don't like personal domains.
ReplyDeletethis is so silly...
ReplyDeleteIf you are using addresses like mail@MyDoma.in, add an alternative address that just forwards to your email account.
example:
mail@MyDoma.in [IMAP Account]
post@MyDoma.in [Forward to mail@MyDoma.in]
